West House

A meticulous refurbishment, extensions and new coach house building to an Arts & Crafts home in St Andrews

St Andrews Arts & Craft House, is the epitome of a private client project: a full refurbishment, multiple extensions, replacement coachhouse building and landscaping works to a stunning  grade-B listed Arts & Crafts House in St. Andrews We sensitively and adapted the existing house to accommodate modern living while retaining the intimate Arts & Craft detailing and character. This is especially successful in the new kitchen extension which features a kitchen archipelago rather than a kitchen island! We also introduced a new double height gallery, elegant new bathrooms, a large barrel vaulted study and of course no house in St Andrews can be complete without a golf simulator room! The new coachhouse outbuilding replaced the tired and dilapidated existing garages with a new courtyard, garaging with a guest annex on the upper level. The house sits within in a lush and expansive garden plot which is capitalised on with the thoughtful landscaping, allowing the interior and exterior spaces to harmonise. Our clients are delighted with their home and have become something of our ambassadors to other clients.
