The conversion of the Drummond Hotel into an upper and lower town house in 1988 was one of Lorn’s very early development enterprises, and indeed one of several hotels including the Nelson, The Royal Circus, New Town, and Edward’s and Gloucester that we successfully converted into residential use.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull architect! With that in mind, each year we have an office summer outing to unwind and spend the day together.

We raised a glass in the office last night as Michael Fredlander and Sula McEwan formally became directors of our new limited company, along with Lorn.

The office took its annual summer day-out last Friday, with this year being a refreshing coastal walk from Gullane to North Berwick, making a pit stop at a couple of our projects along the way!
