Should you be considering a property purchase and require professional insight before committing, our studio offers bespoke pre-purchase consultations.
For a fixed fee of £150 + VAT, we provide an initial professional assessment of your ideas. In lieu of payment, we ask that this fee be donated to one of our nominated charities
The Service
We will arrange to meet you at the property to conduct a thorough walkthrough and discuss your aspirations. Often, the ‘almost-perfect’ home requires a discerning eye to determine whether your vision for its transformation is both structurally and architecturally viable.
During our visit, we provide the initial professional advice required to help you decide on the purchase. Our expertise encompasses:
- General Refurbishment: Assessing the building’s general condition and the scope of work required to meet modern standards.
- Alterations & Improvements: Exterior modifications, interior remodelling, the sensitive integration of renewable technologies, improving energy efficiency.
- Extensions & Removals: Appraising the potential for expansion or the removal of unsympathetic later additions.
- Heritage & Permissions: Navigating the complexities of Planning Permission, Listed Building Consents, and Building Warrants.
We also work closely with leading estate agents and property consultants across Scotland, assisting their clients in securing properties with genuine long-term potential.
Our Fee: A Charitable Commitment
In lieu of a traditional fee, we request a fixed donation of £150 + VAT made directly to one of our nominated charities. This allows us to support vital community work while providing you with high-level architectural insight.
