Edinburgh New Town Projects

Edinburgh New Town

Edinburgh’s New Town is at the heart of our practice. Based in the New Town ourselves, we have worked on a huge variety of properties across the area, from individual apartment alterations to the restoration and transformation of entire Georgian townhouses.

Townhouses are our speciality and our bread and butter. We understand the unique opportunities and challenges that come with these historic homes, and have extensive experience in adapting them for modern family life while retaining the character and proportions that make them so special.

Our work ranges from sensitive restoration and refurbishment to larger alterations, extensions and contemporary interventions. Whether opening up a dark basement, rethinking the layout of a family home or carefully introducing modern additions, our approach is always to work with the building rather than against it.

The result is a collection of homes that respect their historic setting while being designed around the way our clients want to live today.

Above is a selection of our work across Edinburgh’s New Town.
