A striking contemporary townhouse close to the botanical gardens

As an architect to be involved in self building our family home has been probably the most rewarding work of my life. It would be arrogant to take the credit for this and must, in particular, thank Sula and Paul for all their shared patience and input through all stages of this project. For Catharine and I the result was overwhelming in the pleasure in occupying a home engaging light, form, aspects and internal detail. Most especially in the detail of the floating oak staircase.
